Calfrac is a leading provider of specialized oilfield and well stimulation services. Designed to increase hydrocarbon production, their oilfield services combine proprietary technologies and techniques with equipment innovations for superior results in the field. The Challenge Calfrac's old site lacked functionality and the corporate presence and professionalism required to mirror their marketing and branding strategies. They required an internet presence that was not only functional, but also worked in tandem with their existing marketing campaign. The Solution Electric Media worked with Calfrac to rebuild their site. A drop-down menu system was designed to allow access to any area of the site with a single click. A Flash banner integrating XML technology was created to pull photos from the server which would always show fresh content. Quick links were built to highlight key areas of importance with a single click. Finally, a careers section was added allowing Calfrac employees to update listings, while the application would automatically pull listings after a designated date.
